Here are some dogs and bloodlines from all over the world that are now living in their new homes.  We try to stay in contact with all of you.  These are some of the e-mails and letters we have received.  Please bear with us as we sometimes get behind and do not always update this page in a timely manor.  If you have sent photos and accomplishments of your baby, we promise, it will soon be posted.  Thanx again so very much to all of you who do keep in contact with us as we always miss each and every baby we send to a new home and get absolutely thrilled to see how one is doing!

Apollo (CH. Lucky X Hulda)

Alice - He's doing wonderfully well. He's 15 lbs, climbs up the entire stairway no problem(I'm requiring him to wait a bit on the down).
Slept through the night first night and ever after. Good about pottying, learning his name, sit, down, and target nicely. He listens to the others, isn't afraid.
Thanks,
Neva

Hi Alice,

Thank You Thank You Thank You...Dita is everything you said she would be. Excellent headpiece, bone, and temperament! You will be the first one I contact when looking again (although with 5 Rotts in the house now, I'd have to say it may be a while). But EVERYONE will know you found her for me! I praise you for the person you are...so many fall short in this area. I appreciated you honesty and integrity thru this whole thing. I have heard so many horror stories with importing. Would enjoy keeping in touch and look forward to working with you again. Maybe for a stud service?

Please thank your husband too for me. Miguel was so nice on the phone. You guys are a great team.

Take care of yourself

Sincerely
Suzanne

Hans (Guardian Ruger Von Gottschalk) Int. CH. Marsio X CH. Leda
He is the best! Thank you again for raising the bar on THE breed! If
your offer still stands I'd like to pick up a bag or two of the food.
We should be good for a couple of weeks so no big rush.

Hi Alice,

Hope you had a wonderful Easter and Conference weekend... we had a great time with Hans.

He had his first exam with Dr. Jon Culbertson at Thorntown Veterinarian Clinic and everything is great! He weighs 9.4 pounds! The staff all loved him and his tail brought an opportunity to talk about the better standard in Europe.

Thank you again and we'll be in touch.

Guardian Ramses Von Gottschalk

First vet visit went good.  He weighed 10.2 lbs, which I'm not sure how that compares to other rotties or his other littermates but she said he was healthy.  Everyone was really impressed with how calm and sweet he was and of course they loved his markings. They did mention to me about 3 times how he still has a tail, to which I replied ina ''i know isn't it great'' type of attitude lol but that was just the ladies @ the desk.

I def think he has plenty of confidence, he met my buddies chow and german shepard who tower over him (for now) and he didn't lower his head or tuck his tail or anything he just kinda stared at them, almost stacked up like and greeted them with sniffs. He also does the same thing when he hears noises or other dogs down the alley.  He def seems like he's not gonna have any confidence or fear problems.

Thanks for the help
Brandon

Guardian Qalos (Diesel X Ena)

Hi Alice, My sweet Qalos is settling right in. He is So sweet, following me everywhere. My other dogs seemed to think he's just another brother.  Why did you switch from Life's Abundance? Just curious.

Thank you again! Qalos seems like a well adjusted puppy already!
                                                                                 Debby

Good Morning! Yes, the dog food explanation helps. I am new to looking (and caring) about the ingredients in dog food. I want Qalos to be as healthy as he can be. But when you read all the websites, it gets pretty confusing.

We had a great first night. He cried a little in his crate but then went right to sleep. Woke up at 6 to go out.  Pretty smart pup!
I love his little baby Rottweiler ways already!
                                                                       Debby
A funny story:  Our driveway is packed white sand. I think Qalos thought it was snow because he started licking the sand, then was SO funny trying to get that grainy stuff off his tongue!  :)

Bristow (Guardian Peyton Von Gottschalk) -Int. CH. Marsio X CH. Sindy
 Alice,
Hello from the NW Suburbs of Chicago!  We've been meaning to send you an email sooner but we've been busy busy busy with the puppy!  First off, everything is going great!  Bristow (aka Peyton), has been to the vet a handful of times now (most recently Monday).  The vet LOVES her and says she's doing fantastic.  She's already up to 21 lbs, and he guesses she'll be about 30 when we go see him again at the end of the month.
Bristow has been out and about with us all over.  She comes to our little gym with us on the weekends and is an absolute star.  Everyone always asks how she is doing and comments about how big she's getting, and how big she will be eventually! She's learned a few commands already, but once in a while she'll get distracted by something and it's hard to get her attention when she's so focused on something else.  She was a "natural sitter" and that's by far her best command, and she's getting better at walking on a lead every day.
I've included a few pictures for you.  Hope everything is going well, and it seems like you'll be drowning in puppies again soon enough!!

~Josh, Heather, & Bristow

Guardian Pangea (Int. CH. Marsio X CH. Ajsa)
Hi Alice,

Just wanted to report that after one week our baby girl is still a bundle of joy!
She is just so-o-o-o beautiful! and growing like a weed.
She is very affectionate and fun to play with.
We can't say enough good things about her.
When she saw *fire* (fireplace) for the first time it was amusing to watch her reaction.  She is very alert.  She always makes us smile, ok, not exactly always!

Hi Alice,

Thought you might enjoy pics of Pangea taken this a.m.  She's an awesome puppy and doing well.

"Rocky" (Int. CH. Marsio Ri Mobby Dick and CH. Ajsa Se Ungo-Rot)

He is the best pup ever!  Doing super!  He is very social and has met all my neighbors and half the family.  Rudi loves wrestling with him...but Rocky (my husband changed his name because he likes rocks) already beats him ;)  He is doing really good with his potty training and I'm teaching him sit.

Thanks for a wonderful addition to the family Alice!!!!
xo
Amy

Hey Alice,

Rocky is doing great!  Growing like a weed!  He has already gained 4 or 5 lbs.   I love his huge paws - they are the cutest thing ever...well that and his super sweet face!
I had a our dog trainer Dave over at the house yesterday and he said he was one of the most beautiful Rotts he had ever seen (well duhhh :)  He's really smart, really tough, and really sweet.  He wags his tail at everything!!!
He's doing great on his potty training...and is much better at not nibbling.  He loves tug of war with Rudi and never gives up!
Just wanted to let you know he's doing awesome!  We are getting some family pics taken Sept. 10 (with my big prego belly) I'll make sure I send some along.
:) cheers
Amy

Just wanted to give you a Nitros (Rock bear) update.  He's over 80lbs (as of a few weeks ago). And is filling out amazing!  He is going to look just like his dad (but a little darker)
He is the sweetest dog (I have to give him a 20 minute snuggle/kiss session in the morning and at night).  He is getting a little heavy to sit on my lap and I can't really move him anymore - lol.
He is so tough...invisible fence does nothing to him so I decided to get him trained by the professionals (and to train me).
Lorenzo's Dog Training is the best place in Cleveland.  Lorenzo trains all the police and service dogs here and he is recommended by over 20 vets.
They specialize with Rotties (my trainer owns a Rottie who Rocky sleeps with at his home at night).
He has been there a little over a week (we have been out to work with him) and he is so happy!  He has great drive and loves training!
They want to try schutzhund training with him and i'm not too sure.  He is still to young to do a lot of it but I did let the teach him the "pre-bite" which is basically a look really scary and bark and growl command.
Well Rocky did it in 1 day and loves it (he has never once growled at our house - so i didn't think it was for him).  I'm not sure about the protection training, is it too mean?  Or do Rotties love it?  can you give me your opinion?
JD (one of the trainers) is very familiar with your dogs (he loves Ajsa) and Rocky loves him so I know they are good trainers (i checked all the references and did a thorough interview)...but I'm not sure.
Hope all is well
Amy

ps. my son is going to be as big as my rottie baby (he is over 17lbs at 3 months)...i'm surrounded by huge boys!

Gabriel (Guardian Omari Von Gottschalk) - CH. Marschall X CH. Chigra

Alice,
Thank you for the paper work on Omari Gabriel). As you already know , we have him for a pet and another member of the family. We are keeping his papers in his folder, but probably will not register him because there is no real necessity. He has a date with the vet Mon. the 22nd for neuter. He's growing big quick. He's smart, but a little thick.(stubborn) He fixates on our small dog and persist in playing with her until she gets mad. We go for long walks to find a place where I let him run "off leash". There are times when he won't come when I call him, but that doesn't last when I start to move off away from him. He catches up pretty quick. He is with us where ever we are in the house. He runs on the treadmill like a champ. I never keep him on it long enough for him to get bored with it, and he goes right to it when I take him in the exercise room. I think the longest he's been on it has been 13 minutes. I stand right beside him and I think he thinks we are walking together. He's everything I hoped he would be. The attached JPG is Gabriel and a toy he likes.

Hi Alice & Family!

Merry Christmas!  We hope you are all doing well.  We are doing great and love our little "Chili"...  the kids thought our "New Mexico" dog needed a New Mexican name...  :)
She is very smart and learning quickly.
Thanks for your Christmas card!  We will stay in touch!

Guardian Osita Von Gottschalk- CH. Chigra X CH. Marschall
Hi Alice,
Osita is growing in leaps and bounds and is such a love bug.  She is constantly at my side to the point of being my shadow and tripping me. She loves laying on the sofa sleeping with me.  Of course she sleeps on her back sprawled out and snores very loudly.  I think I need to get her a breath right strip.  HA HA!  :-)  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday as well.

Hi Alice,

I am so pleased with Osita.  She is truly a love bug.  She loves to snuggle especially in my hair.  When I am laying on the sofa, she has to be right there with me.  She especially likes laying on top of my head.  Osita is great with my grandson, and they are best of buddies.  My grandson uses the the toy you gave Osita to play tug of war with her.  Osita is constantly at his side.  She has learned to play fetch and we are working on shaking paw. Osita thinks she is a tough dog when she is trying to attack the blowing leaves.  Ha Ha!!!! She is truly an exceptional puppy.  Thanks so much for letting me have her.  I will definitely give her a hug from you.  I will keep you posted on her development.  Hope your next litter does okay.
Linda

 Hi Alice,
I wanted to thank you for the Christmas card that you sent me.  Osita is doing great.  We had a little snow this past weekend.  She really enjoyed it.  Osita went sliding across the deck on purpose.  I made her a few snowballs which she played with for a few seconds before eating them.

Gabriel (Guardian Omari) CH. Marschall Se Ungo-Rot X CH. Chigra od Sremcica

Hello Alice and family. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I've been having a great time with Gabriel. My wife Anna and I took him with us to Philadelphia to visit her family, and had no problems. Gabe got along great with my mother-in laws three dogs (one bull dog and two Maltese). He hardly made a sound riding in his kennel in the back of our Jeep, both there and back. (ten to twelve hours each way) I take him for walks nearly every day. He is a little hesitant to leave his familiar surroundings, but once I get him a block away from the house he walks great. I'm amazed at his willingness to go regardless of the weather. He loves the snow and loves being turned loose to investigate his surroundings at his leisure. I take him to large open fields and take him off the leash. He runs and frolics, but always keeps an eye on the distance between us. His big delight is to snoop through weeds and small saplings, nose working like crazy. I hadn't heard him bark, other than a playful invite to play until just the other day. My son was home from the Navy and Gabe wasn't use to another in the house. Early one morning I was having coffee and playing with Gabe and my son was stirring in the other room. Gabe saw his shadow down the hallway. His hind legs spread apart as if to brace himself-front legs together-head high-tail just above level with slight curl up, he let out a bark that was really impressive for such a young dog. My son came in and exclaimed " Oh my!" I said " That was great, wasn't it!" Everywhere I take him, people ask me about him. Lots of fun!      John

Guardian Onyx Von Gottschalk (CH. Marschall X CH. Chigra)

Owned by the founder of K9 Stud www.k9stud.com

Hi Alice,

So my dad took one of his rotties to the vet today to get hips xray (prelim), I decided to take onyx with me too, I know she is young but I figured it wouldn’t hurt, her hips came out excellent J the vet also weighed her, she is 77 lbs at 9 months.  She is doing super, developing very well!

Thanks again!

"Jethro"  (CH. Chigra od Sremcica X CH. Marschall Se Ungo-Rot)
Hi  Alice!

Thanks for talking the other day  . Attached are some pics of Jethro about a week ago. After he got rid of the nasty Giardia which I suspect he got drinking from the duck pond (should have known better than to let him do that) gained 5 lbs. in the past week! now about 45.(Does that sound about right, at 16 wks...?)

Jethro went to the groomers for the first time today and did very well. Loved everyone. Only protested at having his paws blow-dried (which made me think, do we really NEED to blow-dry a dog's paws???) How decadent is that. (I just use a towel and let the rest air-dry!!).

Thanks,
Leila

Hey Alice,

Thought you might like to take a look at how Omgea or dakota is doing so far.. As of right now he's what almost five months and now weighs in at over 45 pounds.  His energy gets more and more crazier every day.. I just wish that it wasn't so cold outside that i could let him out and have more time playing.  In all he's doing well. Thanks for letting me get him.

Hope you had a great New year's eve and have a great year.

Todd Odle

Just wanted to update you on Max. He is now 43 pounds and has completed all of his puppy vaccines. He is doing wonderful and we love him to death. One night last week he was outside and heard an owl. I had to actually go out and carry him in because he stood guard outside on our patio and wasn't budging as long as the owl was out there. (I am sure he did not know what he was up against, lol.) I tried to get some pictures to send but he wouldn't sit still or he would have his face right in the camera. I also wanted to let you know that my vet as well as several other people I talked to were impressed with how well you stood behind your puppy even after we brought him home.
Sicerely,
Erin Lubinski

Hi Alice,
I have attached a picture of Max with our 2 year old. He is doing well. He is getting so big. Lately he has taken up chewing on power cords! Thank goodness none of them are plugged in. He actually starts at the plug. He was neutered a few months ago. We are sohappy with him even though he has been quite a stinker lately.

Hope you and your family have a great Christmas!
Erin Lubinski

Hello how are you? Just wanted to say thank you again for the two wonderful additions to our family. Wanted to send recent photos of them; they are such big lovers. They are so good with our kids. Diezel weighs around 95 lbs and Roxi is about 85 lbs.

Thanks

Guardian Maks-M Von Gottschalk (Ulan X Alexis)

Hi Alice!!!

It's me Maks-M and I wanted to send you a picture of me so you can see how big and manly I am.  My Mom and Dad are proud of me and I almost have them completely trained!

Thank you again for choosing my Mom and Dad for me!  I am VERY spoiled and I love being a Rottie!
Wags and licks!!
Maks-M
P.S.  I asked Mom to attach a picture of my sister to.  I really like having an older sister who watches out for me and always reminds me whose in charge!

Bentley-(CH. Marschall Se Ungo-Rot and CH. Ena Se Ungo-Rot)
Alice,
Here are a few pics of Bentley. He is doing great. Everyone that sees him thinks he is gorgeous. I took him to my kids school today and the kids were all over him. One little girl said you can't trust a Rottweiler, and she was in the 3rd grade. Hopefully Bentley helped change her mind. On the way home I stopped by my vet and had him weighed. He will be 6 months this Tuesday and he weighed in at 62 lbs, not too shabby. Thanks for getting me a wonderful dog. He is everything I hoped for and more. I hope everything is going well with you and the family. Take care and more updates to follow.
Brandon

Alice this is a picture of roxie. Tim and Becky Tolers dog. She has been a real smart dog. She unlocks and locks the doors here at the house. She even unlocks her cage when ever she wants. I would like to bring her over to see diesel some day soon.

MANNI- ULAN X CH. SINDY

Nice to talk to you the other day and get an update on the rest of Manni's family.  He is a great best new friend-already at 14 weeks is sure and confident and very well behaved.  Other than his taste for underwear and propensity to snore you could not ask for anything more--but, after all, no one is perfect!  I took him shooting for the first time at 11 weeks and he was amazing--just ignored high power rifle shots and laid on my feet as usual for over an hour and slept.  An excellent companion and wonderful animal.  The picture of him asleep on the book was at roughly 10 weeks and the others at 14 weeks.  Thanks again for everything.  Jay

Diezl (Int. CH. Marsio Ri Mobby Dick and CH. Nushka Se Ungo-Rot)
Hi Alice -
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to give you an update on Diezl (XXX Se Ungo Rot - with a name like that, how could we NOT name him Diezl - with a twist of course!).  He is such a great dog and he's growing so fast!  We get compliments all the time on how handsome and well-mannered he is - whether we're out for a walk, stopping at the pet store, or at his puppy obedience class.  He is (of course!) the most advanced "student" in the class!  :-)  After our first class everyone knew his name because, while the he thought the other dogs were ok to hang out with - it was all the people that he found most interesting - going around from person to person to say hi and get loves - now he makes his rounds every week.  (I can't wait to get him started in therapy dog work when he's a little older - I think he'll be perfect for it!)
When Seth's mom found out we had gotten a Rottie, she told us she was happy for us, but that she's always been afraid of Rotties.  Well, it took only one visit for her to be completely won over by Diezl.  Now, she absolutely adores him and brags to everyone about what a great dog he is!
We are just so happy to have added Diezl to our family!  I smile every time I look at his sweet face!  Thank you!
Krissa and Seth

Hi Alice -
I hope you and your family had a great Christmas and a good start to 2010!!  I was getting ready to send you an update on XXX Se Ungo Rott, our Diezl, and while I was checking out the latest updates on your website, I saw your announcement on puppies coming up from Huck x P-Linda.  Wow!  What great looking dogs - more on that in a second.

I've attached some recent pics of Diezl and can't say enough about what a great dog he is.  Not only is he gorgeous, he is the sweetest dog ever.  I know you hear that a lot!  Our greatest challenge is his focus.  He doesn't have huge food drive and the only toy that gets him really consistently engaged is a giant blue Jolly Ball, which needless to say, is a little hard to use for obedience training!  My husband and I joined a training club in our area and we're having fun working with Diezl in obedience and rally obedience and he's doing a great job.  When he's a little older we'll probably give agility a try too - as he seemed to really like that during the introduction to it in his puppy class.  Whenever we have him out and about with us, people are always coming up to us to find out about Diezl - to tell us how beautiful and well-mannered his is - and then to find out why he's a Rottie with a tail - and then to give him cuddles.  He is such a great Ambassador for the breed.  :-)

Now, of course, we're getting the itch to add to our family and we've started looking around for different pairings we might be interested in getting another puppy from.  This time around we are looking for a female not related to Marsio.  Not that we are intending to breed necessarily but we'd like to leave the possibility open for the future.  We were originally thinking about waiting until the fall, but...  Do you already have a lot of deposits for those puppies?  Is the pick female already spoken for?  How much would the pick female or any other female from the litter cost?  Is P-Linda here in the States with you or are the puppies being imported once they are born?  Are there any plans to breed Huck in the future?

I know, a bunch of questions and I saw on the site that you're out of town right now, so when you have a chance, get back to me and let me know either by email or give me a call.  Thanks a bunch!

Krissa

ROMMEL (Int.CH. Marsio Ri Mobby Dick and CH. Nushka Se Ungo-Rot)
When Joshua came with his wife and absolutely adorable 2-year-old, Erilyn, to pick out a puppy, we intended to take home a female.  But Rommel, a Marsio pup about 4 months of age (who reminds me so much of my Diesel) came and sat so gently besite Erilyn.  He them followed her everywhere she went in our back yard for the next hour.  Joshua and Jessica kept going over to our other pups, but everytime they looked up Rommel was either laying faithfull at Erilyn's feet or had his head resting on her.  As Joshua said, "the decision was made."

Jessica wanted me to write you just to let you know how exceptionally happy we all are with Rommel! He is just an absolute joy to work and play with! :) When we go on our walks he has to know every second where Erilyn is, and God forbid she is upset or crying... he goes to wherever she is and lays there with her. What you said about him moping around for a couple of days was spot on... [heck], I thought I was going to have to run him into the vet for fear something else was wrong, but today he was [heck] on wheels! :) We're loving every minute of it!

On a side note, I think he misses Karma! :) Our neighbors have a sweet little Dachshund that Rommel loves to romp around with... as much as he can at least. so don't be suprised when we get a hold of you for another puppy!

Thank you so very much for all you've done for us!!!

Joshua, Jessica, Erilyn, and Rommel

XYLIA- (INT. CH. MARSIO RI MOBBY DICK  and  CH. NUSHKA SE UNGO-ROT)

Just wanted to thank you once again for the opportunity to get Xylia. She is growing rapidly, she is around 60 pounds now and is gaining ground on my 120 pound rottweiler Champ. Xylia is a very confident rottweiler. Xylia doesn't back down when my neighbor's five dogs come rushing to the gate when they see her. When I first brought Xylia home, she used to run behind Champ when those dogs came running to the gate. Xylia doesn't mind that Champ is more than twice her size, she jumps all over him and plays rough with Champ. Xylia already seems to be completely house broken, no accidents for 2 weeks now. Overall, Xylia is a great rottweiler and I'm proud to have her as part of the Arrington rottweiler family. Keep me posted with Dunjo, I'm a big fan of him. I love the pictures of the puppies that you have of Dunjo and Serenity, Lyra is my favorite one. Lyra looks like she'll be the female version of Dunjo. If I didn't have my hands full with Xylia, I would've bought one of Dunjo's and Serenity's puppies. Serenity is also my favorite female rottweiler that you have. Like I said, keep me posted on any future Dunjo litters, I want to have one of his puppies. If I don't buy one of his puppies, I'd like to use him as a stud to one of my females. I did make another addition to my rottweiler family, I got a 3 year old female rottweiler named Dyna, Black Turk Euro is her father. She is a nice and stocky female at 93 pounds with the same color as Xylia's big brother. Anyways, hope your trips to Germany go well and keep me posted on any rottweiler news and notes. I'm a big fan of some of your rottweilers and I tell everyone at work about Dunjo. Until next time, take care of yourself, your family, and stay blessed.
Thank you,
James, IL

Hello Alice,
First off, I want to thank you for picking up my phone calls and answering my rottweiler questions. You are the only breeder that I've come across that is open to doing that, other breeders just want to sell a dog and that's it.  I have someone that might be interested. I have been talking a lot about Dunjo to everyone I know that loves rottweilers. If you do have any Dunjo puppies available, how much are they going for? Xylia is growing and is around 80 pounds now and she is very strong and athletic! She is turning out to be a beautiful rottweiler with amazing drive, thank you for selling her to me. I am very proud of Xylia, so is my other rottweilers Champ and Dyna. Until next time, take care and God bless.

Hello Alice,

Just wanted to wish you and your family a happy thanksgiving. I saw the pictures of the Marsio and Sindy litter and I'm impressed. I'd love to take Primus home but I'm waiting until Xylia gets a little older before I take on another puppy. I plan on making a couple more additions to the Arrington rottweiler family next year, I want another adult female like I told you earlier and I'm making space for a male puppy from a Dunjo litter somewhere between spring and summer. I'll always keep checking out your website for any future upcoming litters of Dunjo, I love that dog. I should put that I'm a fan of Dunjo on facebook. I already made my mind up on where I'm going to get my next two rottweilers, Guardian Rottweilers. Not only do you have great dogs but you have to be the friendliest and most caring breeder that I've been to, other breeders just want your money and that's it, they won't bother answering any calls or returning any e-mails unless you want to spend more money. Great customer service Alice, great job! Anyways, good luck with the new litter and take care of all the other great rottweilers that you have. Once again, I wish you, your family, and your rotties a happy thanksgiving tomorrow.

Thank you, James

Hello Alice,

Just wanted to thank you for the Christmas greeting card and I hope you and your family had a great Christmas and I also want to wish you and your family a great and Happy New Year. I'll do what I can to spread the word on your rottweilers, whenever anyone asks me about rottweilers I give them your card.
Here goes another Xylia update. Xylia turned a year old in December and she is between 88 and 95 pounds, I weighed her about a week after she turned 11 months and she weighed 88 pounds and I'm sure she packed on some more weight after a month. Xylia is growing fast and she is close to my 3 year old male Champ in height, she is about 2 to 3 inches shorter than Champ. Xylia has huge baseball glove paws, her head measures 22 inches round, she is a great athlete and has to be my most athletic dog, and she has unbelievable drive. I was looking on your website and Kenzi looks a lot like Xylia.
I'm sure I've seen an upcoming litter for Dunjo and Ajsa, did they have a litter? I was talking to a few of my friends who wanted to come by and check out Dunjo and his puppies. I talk about Dunjo all the time and now I have some people who want to check him out. I'm not sure if they will buy a puppy or not but just about everyone I know works in the pet industry and I'm sure they'll be impressed with Dunjo like me and spread the good news about your dogs to anyone interested. I also like what I see from the new female you have on your website, Ajme, that dog looks like a rottweiler tank from the picture I saw, nice. How old is Ajme and how much does she weigh? Like I told you earlier, I'm planning on adding a couple more additions to my rottweiler family around spring time. Once again, I'm looking for an adult female between 2 to 4 years old and I'm going to get a Dunjo male puppy from any litter that you have around that time. I'll keep you posted on when I'm ready but I just wanted to remind you and hope that you can give me any info on any female rottweilers that you come across that will be available around that time.
One last thing, if you want to refer anyone to my facebook page to look at pictures of Xylia, I don't mind. I'll be posting new pictures of Xylia at 12 months in the near future. I think that's all I have for now, until next time take care and may God bless you and your family.

"Belle" Guardian Lily Von Gottschalk- Dunjo X Serenity

Alice,

Scott and I just wanted to thank you for such a beautiful dog.  Belle is 7 months old and I have no idea how we made it before without her.  She is such a wonderful addition to our little family.  She and our corgi Beastie are best friends.  They much such a goofy compliment to each other...we couldn't have asked for better.  Belle's temperament is outstanding, I've never had a dog like her.  She is so super sweet and smart.  She was the star of her puppy class!  She smiles at us ALL the time, she's such a happy dog!  We see a lot of Dunjo in her too...she loves to prance and tug just like her daddy.  But she gets her mom's mellowness too.  Just like Serenity she loves to sit and cuddle...especially on my lap.  She hasn't (and won't if I can help it) figured out that she's not a lap dog!  She is such an energetic yet mellow dog,  a beautiful mix of her parents.  We couldn't have asked for a better addition!  Thanks for your dedication to the breed.

Here a some pictures of her.  The first is the first day we brought her home, this is one of my all time favorites.  The other is last month or so at the bark park...which she absolutely loves!

Thanks for all you do!
Scott and Fallon Wareham

Blitz (Guardian Lobo Von Gottschalk) Dunjo X Serenity- about 6 mo. old

LYNX- (DUNJO X SERENITY)

I wanted to update you on Lynx.  We have some pretty good pictures of her with the kids.  She is really doing a terrific job of adjusting.  She whines a little at night, but it doesn't take her long to settle down.  She does an awesome job with the pottying.  We've only had two small accidents: they were right after a nap, so now I know a little better what behavior to look for.  She has stooled three times outside.  I havent quite figured out her eating schedule yet:  I think she might be on a tiny bit of a hunger strike from missing her siblings.  She has eaten almost two cups of the royal canin large breed puppy food over the last 24 hours.  She just sort of picks at it.  I dont leave it out for her, I just get it  (and she sits{most times without being told}) and try to get her to eat.  She is really a wonderful piece of the family, the kids are playing with her right now and they're all having a blast.  We wanted to thank you for the hard work and love that you and your family put into your rotties.  It really shows.
Thanks
The Shafer family

Hi Alice,
Everyone is doing really good.  Lynx is growing so fast! She loves playing games with the kids and I.  We got her one of those Kong balls that looks like a snowman and squeaks:  She loves it.  Hope all your little ones are doing well.  When I get a little more time, I will send you more pics.  Its been pretty chaotic, Ethan is starting to walk and getting into EVERYTHING.  Lynx is too, but she doesnt make near the mess he does.
Thank You
The Shafer family

Moses- (Ulan and CH. Sindy Nine-Rot)
Hello Alice,
We wanted to send you a current pic of our beautiful baby boy, Moses, aka, Kilo.  At seven months, he is at 60 pounds.  He is coming into his adventurous adolescent stage.  We absolutely adore him.  He loves to lay on the floor as our three-year-old's floor pillow.  He loves to play ball and practice anything new we take the time to teach him.  He is gorgeous and a big hit with any new person he meets.  Thanks so much for our new family member.  Take care!
Kerry, Kelli, Josh, Brittany, Quinten, and Olivia

"Bella" Yuca Se Ungo-Rot (CH. Marschall X CH. Ena)

Alice,

Bella is loving the snow.  We are sure in love with this puppy (BIG puppy).  I noticed on your website that you are breeding her mother to Diesel.  I totally agree that that group of pups was exceptional.  No matter who sees her (Rott lover or not) they always comment on what a beautiful head and expression she has.  I couldn't agree more.  She has more than become a part of our family, we couldn't live without her.  Our other dog Sadie wasn't a fan at first (because she had been the "only" for so long) but as you can see from some of the shots, they are thick as theives now.  Sadie has helped Bella become a "good" girl and have some manners and we love them both VERY  much!!!

She represents what you are all about at Guardian Rottweilers and that is the loveability, loyalty, and constant companion that the Rott is and should be seen as.  I just wanted you so see what and where your little girl is and how she is doing.

Hope your Turkey day wasn't too stressful, and we wish you a wonderful Christmas season!!!

Take Care

YIN (CH. Marschall Se Ungo-Rot and CH. Ena Se Ungo-Rot)
she was unbelievable on the way home..she whined a Little but not much. The rest of the time<2 hrs.> she was on my lap as content as she could be..her personality is soooo cute..jon is out with her now and she and rudy are getting along pretty well.Jon volunteered to be the first one on puppy duty tonight , and that lets me know that she has captured his heart. He just needs to be pushed a little...and there was no way unless you wouldn't let us have one, that i was leaving empty handed.. hated to push him...but he needed it...he famously takes too long to make decisions when i just jump in....and i trusted you so i knew all would be well...thanks again and i will give you an update to marrow...with much love and respect...Judy

Yuri Se Ungo-Rot (Marschall X Ena)

That AMAZING male on the right is Akino, a Marsio son we imported last year.  He is not even one year old here and look how deep his chest is and what a POWERFUL head!  Marsio never disappoints!!  And of course, the most important aspect-so large and powerful, yet so gentle and loyal.  I have said it a 1000 times--there is nothing in the world like a rottie.

Happy New Year,
Sorry this has arrived so late.  I have been trying to fix pictures to send to you.  Thank you so much for the Christmas Card.  We all loved it.  I did not get cards sent this year.  Here is a picture of the kids with Akino and Jag taken December 23, 2008.  Look at the beautiful baby.  We cannot believe he is so big.  He is pushing 100 pounds. Akino is a wonderful dog with a great personality. He does not like to go outside when it is cold. He loves to grab kitchen towels and carry them around the house.  We are trying to break that habit.  We are in process of looking for someone to work with us so we can show him. Hopefully we can find someone soon.  Well I better be going to get dinner going.  I will be sending a picture with a long letter for the brag board soon.

Take Care,
Todd, Karie, Kaity, and Andrew Tyler

JAZABEL (DIESEL X DIAMANTE)

Hope all is well nice puppies you have from Europe! Jazabel is doing wonderful, she already knows sit, stay, heel and down commands we are amazed at how smart she is! We even have her trained to ring bells attached to our patio door when she has to relieve herself.

Take care and thanks for parting with our wonderful Jazabel.
Joe and Lydia

Hi Alice hope all is well. You posted some great pictures on your website of you in Europe. .Jaz is doing great, she is 8 months old now and challenges us often not for long though and then goes back to being an angle. Lydia and I were talking the other day how fortunate we were to find you and for getting Jaz as our first Rottweiler. Her intelligence always amazes us. I put her on pawvillage check it out when you get a chance.

As promised her are some pictures of her taken over the weekend.

KNOX- DIESEL X DIAMANTE
Happy Valentines Day!  I know most puppies probably learn this fast but we just wanted to let you know that Knox already knows how to sit on command.  We have been working with him and he stays at our side most of the time- I don't really even have to watch him much.  He plays for a while and then he lays at my feet while I wash dishes or cook!  We love him!!! (appropriate for valentines day, I guess!)  We had him vet checked and things look great.  The only thing we are working on right now is when he has something he shouldn't in his mouth and you try to take it away, he growls sometimes as if he's playing and won't let go.  Right now we make a loud noise, squeeze his jaws open, replace it with his toy, and praise him...is that right?  Anyways, just wanted to give you an update..thanks bunches and hope you are having a restful weekend!
Matthew, Morgan, Maddox, and Lincoln Andrews, KY

Guardian Joi Von Gottschalk
Diesel X Diamante

Joi was and is a very special puppy for us.  Born premature and underdeveloped, even the vet told me she would not survive.  But she had Diesel's blood in her and as long as she wanted to live, I would do everything medically possible to ensure that she did.  Although she was born not even 1/3 the size of her siblings, she is now a very beautiful, healthy one year old.  Many of you know the story of our baby Joi, but you may read about her here.  She is now living with a wonderful family and is a beloved member of the family.  We are so very proud of our baby bundle of Joi!

TITAN (JAX)- DIESEL X DIAMANTE

WE JUST WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BREEDING SUCH A WONDERFUL PUPPY. HE IS AN AWESOME ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY.

WE HAVE BEEN VERY DILIGENT IN HIS POTTY TRAINING AND HE IS DOING VERY WELL, ONLY TWO VERY SLIGHT URINE INCIDENTS...OUR MISTAKES OF COURSE, BUT AS SOON AS WE CAUGHT HIM GETTING READY TO GO HE KNEW EXACTLY WHERE TO GO TO FINISH! WE HAVE HIM ON A FEEDING SCHEDULE ALREADY AND HE IS DOING REALLY WELL.

HE IS A JOY TO BE AROUND AND SO MUCH FUN ALREADY.

AGAIN, THANK YOU SO MUCH. WE HAVE BEEN TAKING PICTURES LIKE CRAZY, I WILL UPLOAD SOME FOR YOU.

RESPECTFULLY,
JILLIAN AND JEFFERY

P.S. WE ENDED UP NAMING HIM TITAN...AND IT WAS ALMOST LIKE HE KNEW HIS NAME WAS WRONG AS "STORM". WHEN I TAP MY LEG AND SAY "TITAN COME", HE COMES RUNNING WITH JOY EVERYTIME ALREADY!!!

Just wanted to share some pics of Titan. He is really coming into his own, but is A LOT of work...and A LOT of fun. He meets new people everyday and is really doing well on the potty training end of things...biting is a whole other story, LOL. Thank you so much for such a beautiful dog.

As you can see, he has gone to the vet twice, finds no problem relaxing at home in a very comfortable position let me add, and is the most handsome thing I have ever seen.  We truly picked a wonderful puppy and he an amazing expansion to our family.

TITAN IS DOING GREAT!!!! WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND HE IS SPOILED ROTTEN TO THE CORE ALREADY AND KNOWS IT.  HE MEETS NEW PEOPLE EVERYDAY AND IS FINALLY GOING ON WALKS WITH HIS LEASH WITHOUT FIGHTING US. WHAT A JOY HE IS...I FIND MYSELF WALKING IN AN OUT OF THE HOUSE ALL DAY JUST TO GET THE GREETING HE GIVES.

Talk with you soon,
Jillian
Hi Alice, just touching bases to reinterate how much we love our boy. From the cute looks he gives us, to the 6am wake up calls...he is everything we have ever wanted in a rottweiler. Every where we go, we get complements about what a great dog he is. While a lot of that has to do with the fact that he's been in puppy classes since he was 10wks and how we are raising him, much of it is a direct reflection on the breeder and we would recommend you to anyone!!! Infact, Jeff has already named the next rotte we hope to get from you in the future, LOL. Titan has a few things to say........

Hi, this is Titan and I just wanted to say I LOVE my new family. They give me belly rubs, legs rubs, special treats, fun toys, LOTS of loving and wonderful baths. I get to go to doggie day camp once a week and I meet new people everyday. Im not sure how I feel about Mr. Vacuum Cleaner yet, I just let him to his work and watch him go back to where he came from! I look foward to my two walks everyday. My mom & I meet so many dogs and people and its a good opportunity for me to practice all those excersizes I learn in puppy class. I still get really excited when I meet people, which is my absolute favorite thing to do, but I calm down as soon as mom reminds me about those tasty treats she has stashed. Im getting so big too. At my last doctor appt, I weighed 78lbs and my doctor said my weight was perfect! My mom and dad bought me a new collar and leash, they say "Bad to the Bone" although everyone keeps saying I dont live up to the slogan??? They say Im a big baby and a big old fraidy cat...bet they werent saying that when grandma tried to come in the house through the sliding glass door. I jumped over my mom and dad and stood between them and the door barking as strongly as I could until I recognized my grandma's voice! Boy were they proud of me that day. I still have a lot of growing up to do, but Im well on my way. Thanks for fitting me with such a great family :-)

We enclosed some new pics to exchange with the old ones. These have our daughters in them (who live in different cities) they are on the internet more in school and wanted to be able to show people Titan's parents (both human & biological LOL). The crazy picture is one we took of him the first time we practiced leaving him home alone...when we got back home he was on the couch, knocked out sleeping, up-side-down!!!

One more REALLY cool tidbit. We went to pick up Titan from doggie day camp the other day and someone asked us where we got him. What a small world it is!!! The groomer who had taken care of him has "Jazabel" from the same "J" litter Titan/Jax was from. She lives in the same city we do and left the message for me to call ahead of time so she can bring her in and they can have a play date. I thought that was pretty cool. You definitely have referrals out this way, we have nothing but good things to say about Guardian.
Respectfully,
Jillian, Jeff, and Titan

JACUB- (DIESEL X DIAMANTE)
Hi!
I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how I'm doing  in my new home.   I spent all day Sunday following Dot around the house (she thinks she has me trained to follow her.  HA!).  I took a nap in the afternoon while they went buy me some more toys, Hills Large Breed Puppy food, and some other goodies.  (They're going to mix it with my other food so my stomach adjust easily).  Monday, I went with Mark and rode in a semi truck with a load of corn he was taking to the elevator terminal.  The way this truck is made that when I stood up in my box, I could see out all the windows and I though this is COOL!   I got tired though and slept the whole time I was at the elevator so I missed the tour!  I am eating vigorously and feeling good...I like my new home and Owners.  I do miss you guys...here's a couple of pictures of me.  I'm so cute.
Keep in touch!

I went to the Vet and all is Ok.  He tricked me with a treat and then gave me a shot!  I am so smart.  Dot and Mark think they got me trained but I outsmarted them and got out of my 'playpen' (I figured if I thrust my weight it tips over - FREEDOM!)  I have grown so much in just a week and I am almost potty trained.  I get treats if I sit down and stay--that's easy and I love the treats I get.  Susie and Mike next door come over all the time and want to be best buddies with me too.  Well, here's a picture for you of me with my favorite toy.  I'm doing fine, I'm spoiled rotten. :)    As always, miss y'all.  Tell the girls and boys I think of them often.

My Vet was afraid I had a cartilage problem so Mark too me to a specialist in Anderson, he said the only thing wrong was I was growing too fast and one muscle was growing faster than the other, thus pulling my front feet inward (bow-legged) so I had to wear these for 5 days (see pics) and I’ve been fine ever since.

03/14/09
Life is great. I walked around the pond, drank from the pond.   I now weight over 18 lbs—can you believe it.  I have grown so much you probably would not recognize me.  When Mark whistles I go to him.  He takes me for lots of rides everyday and I’ve met so many new people who just love all over me!  I have a new bed as I outgrew my other one, lots of toys, but of course, my favorite is Dot’s pajamas (I don’t think she like this as I chase her around the house grabbing at the legs, I thought this was a game we’re supposed to play until Mark comes around then I have to quit).   I have to train Dot as when it’s time to play, she squeals—Mark told her if she just would walk slower I wouldn’t go after moving targets (grin).
My Nanny (neighbor, Susie) and her husband come see all the time as they want me to know them well.  Mike plays with me a lot--he gets on the carpet and pretends to hide and I jump all over him .  It is such fun.

04/04/09
Life is great.   I now weight over 25 lbs.  I am so tall, you wouldn’t recognize me…I’m so CUTE.    Mark and I go fishing everyday now that is it getting warmer.   I fell in the pond last week and Dot had to give me another bath, was I dirty.  We walk around the yard every day and there are flags and I know I cannot go any farther.
JACUB

Hi Mom & Dad,
Sorry I haven't written in awhile but I wanted to give you an update of how I'm doing.    I've grown into quite a large 'fellow'; don't think you would recognize me any more since I've been with this family that you have entrusted my care to. I' ve learned so many things this past year.   And, snow, how I love snow---i can play in it for hours.

Jeriko (Diesel and Diamante)
Alice,

I thought I would send you a few pictures of the growing baby. After our trip downtown Bloomington last weekend we weighed him at the pet store and he's up to 63 pounds already. He is turning into a great dog. I don't have him as trained as I like, but that is my fault not his. He is very confident in his actions & the surroundings.

Hope all is going well with you and your house full.

Regards,
Matt

I just wanted to drop you a quick line and let you know we have not forgotten who we have to thank for our Izzy! We have just had so much going on the past couple of months, including problems with our internet/email that I haven't gotten a chance to email you.

Isabel is doing wonderfully!!! She is actually 5 1/2 months old exactly today, and weighed in at 60 lbs.......just thought you would like to know. She is a very big, and solid girl, with an absolutely gorgeous head! You would be very impressed and proud of her! It only took a couple of times showing her how to sit and give you paw before she had it down pat. Tap her on the shoulder, and her paw is in your hand immediately! She also loves to play fetch. She will retrieve the ball, drop it at your feet, and sit until you throw it again! I have attached a picture taken 3 days after she turned 3 months (January 9th). She and Te'a were getting tucked in for the night, and they looked so adorable!

We are going to take Isabel out to Dawson Lake by our house to take some pictures the weekend she turns 6 months. I will forward an update, and a couple of pictures so you can really get an idea of how good Diesel and Nova did! She is perfect!
Nova was an awesome dog, and a great producer! I am also looking forward to the breeding with Dunjo and Serenity.......we are so looking forward to having a perfect pair of rotts again! We cannot wait for our male!
Hope all is well with you, Miguel, and the kids. Looking forward to seeing you all again when Serenity's pups are ready to go. I can't wait for you to see Isabel in person!!!

All my love, (and Izzy's too)
Courtney

Like many of us Susan and her daughter Teresa have found that Rotties are like chocolates--you can't have just one!  After they took Dagan home (an amazing import we brought back from Germany with us out of Int. CH. Marsio Ri Moby Dick and CH. Ajsa Se Ungo-Rot) they came back and got Hannah (Diesel X Serenity).  We are so proud of how well both of these great dogs are doing and the exceptional care all of you give our babies.

  Happy thanksgiving!
Just wondering if you got the photo of Hannah that I sent you.
Took her to work with me for two days. She needed the socialization. Everyone was so good with her. She did great! We played in the rock and sand piles. She even started retreiving for me. I am so proud of her. I was in the water truck and had nothing to do but sit most of the time so we had a lot of time to play! She figured out that when I pushed in the clutch that it was time for her to go to the other side of the cab and sit and stay out of the way. she did that on her own. too darn smart!
Dagan, well, he is such a good boy. He will hide his toy from Hannah and then come and see what it is that she is doing and then go back and get toy and continue playing. His intelligents is almost spooky! Man. Hannah is a smart girl too, she is just younger. I'm sure she will catch up to him soon! I take them for 2 mile walks every day that is nice enough for me. We have been going a lot! They do pretty darn good. You would be so proud of your kids. I love them both so much.
I can't thank you enough for the dogs. I'm so glad I found you!
Hugs and Kisses for all!
Susie:)

Dagan has a new game! He plays it by himself. He drops a tennis ball down the stairs and retrieves it and goes back upstairs and drops again! He started this one by himself. Teresa is very amused.
Smart as he is he doesn't like this ice. He doesn't want to go out to potty. He charged down the front stairs only to find himself sliding across the lawn. I have started taking him and Hannah out another door. Working out for them a little better. Hannah goes fine out of any door. Not Dagan. I don't think he likes being watched! LOL. He is a stitch!
Better go. Church won't wait for me!
  Love, hugs and kisses!
Susie:)

Alice,
I just watched the slide show of Diesel and Ethan... I have tears running down my face. What great love that dog has. Those pics really moved me. Wow.
susie:}

This is a beautiful female we imported from Italy.  Her sire is the famous and very titled CROM DI ALARICUS REX

How are you and your family? I hope you had a merry Christmas.

Sorry it has taken me so long to send you any pictures of our girl..norrah.. I just now got a chance to sit down and send you a couple..

She is growing really quickly, and she is very beautiful. The vet says she is perfect. The red collar in the pictures was her first collar that she has now grown out of. It was a medium that was to big for her when we first got her.  The purple collar is her new collar witch is a Large and we have had to adjust it now 3 times..about once a week.. She has also grown out of her kennel so now she has taken over the kitchen...At her last vet visit she weighed in at 30lbs...

Best Regards,

Betina

We waited nearly 3 years for this breeding (Diesel X Serenity) and could not have been more pleased!  It was so worth the wait!  Just look at the gorgeous head and heavy bone!

Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and are having a great new year! I figured I would give you an update on Ruger. WOW. I have
been around a lot of Rotts and have a couple of friends who have Rotts right
now and if I've heard it once, I've heard it a thousand times...He is a good
looking Rott with a great head! Now I know we are all partial to our own dogs,
but when Ruger is next to Lola or Max (my friends Rotts) it is almost
embarrassing how much of a difference there is...and they bring it up, not me!
This pic is from Thanksgiving, so throw another 15 lbs on him and you will
have the present day Ruger. He turns 5 mths old on Jan 25 and already weighs
in at 60 lbs!! He is just now coming around to being loyal to me. He follows
me everywhere and hates to be away from me. He is so confident it is funny.
When we walk, if another dog that out weighs him by 50 lbs barks at him, he is
right up in their face! Not scared of anything! He is so full of energy that I
have to walk him a couple miles a day just to keep him in ck...but that is
fine, I enjoy it! As discussed, my last rott was the best dog I ever had. If
Ruger is half as good when he gets out of his puppy stage, I will truly have
the PERFECT ROTT...in my mind at least!
Anyway, just wanted to ck in and let you know all is going well. Thanks again
for creating such a good breed! Talk soon.

Hey Alice, Hope all is well! I couldn't be happier with Ruger...other than his energy level is off the charts! But just this morning we were at the vet for his annual shots and my vet even commented on how great his personality is. Like I said, he is full of energy, yet he is so no threatening....even though he weighed in at 116 today...at 16 mnths old. So the Doc said it is time to get him off the puppy food. He goes to doggy day care 2-3 times a week. Completely cage free, so he just plays all day with the other dogs. Just a few weeks ago, they called me during the day to tell me Ruger was playing and a shitsu bit his ear and it was bleeding. I asked what he did after he got bit and they laughed and said he just took off after another dog and started wrestling around with him. So, the long and short of it is, I have a 115 lb rott pup that gets his [bum] kicked by a shitsu at day care!...but I wouldn't want it any other way. This also goes to show what great temperaments your dogs have. Seriously, Ruger's head is bigger than a shitsu. You and I both know what he could have done if he wanted to!  When I pick him up from day care, he is like a  wet noodle...completely worn out! On weekends, he gets to go on long hikes out in the woods off his leach...boy does he love that. And as you well know with rotts, the colder it is, the better they do! See the attached photo.

On another note, I brag on you and your business there all the time. As a matter of fact, I referred Jeff and Susan to you a few months ago. I know them through business and they just lost their rott, so I told them about Guardian Rottweilers. They are from Cleavland and she said they talked to you. Hope that works out.

Tell your family I said hello and have a Merry Christmas!

HEIDI- (DIESEL X SERENITY)

Just letting you know that I have my husband crying with Heidi on his lap, there was an immediate attraction it was really strange.  She is soo attached to him, and he her.  It's like they've been together forever. When I first came home from work, she immediately went into guardian mode! I took the rest of our pack out for our usual walk, then came back.  Eventually she came over, curious and started to see who I was.   We are fine now, but David is her pack leader!  That's how it should be, but Tica, our Jack Russel is very upset.  She will get over it though.  Thank you for our beautiful girl, she is extremely intelligent and we love her very much!  I'll let you know how the vet visit goes tomorrow!  - Susan, CT

Wanted to update and let you know that Heidi and Tica are inseparable! Heidi is now spayed, I also had her stomach anchored to the lining of her body cavity (to help prevent bloat). She is recovering beautifully! She now weighs 46lbs. I call her my mini rotti! XXX is a great male we used for awhile in our breeding program.  He is a MUCK VON DER SHERAU son with such a neat personality.  He was and still is one of Miguel's favorites!  Here is a photo of him pulling our dog cart.

and new year!

Just wanted to drop you a quick line and tell you again how Thankful and Appreciatative we are for our little addition. He's everything you would want. He's incredibly smart and resilient. We just purchased a new floor lamp and little Dante was determined to chew on the tags on the cord. After multiple times going after it, my wife got on the floor to block access to it, the little bugger flew around the couch and came at it from the back side. We've had no accidents in the house, and has mastered going up and down stairs, as well sitting when told. Our only problem is we think he's still on Italy time. He hardly sleeps and gets his second wind around 11p.m., but we'll gladly put up with that, he'll adjust.

A little more info on Dante, he's like clock work, we're up at 5:30 every morning to go outside, then it's breakfast, playtime for an hour, then we take a power nap. After that he's up till bedtime at ten o'clock or so. He's non stop, and doesn't leave my side, even if we have everyone at home, he'll still be right behind me. I'm so thankful we waited and chose you to get our new addition. He's incredibly smart, and picks up things fast. My wife thinks he has his fathers' eyes, and everyone just can't get enough of him. We'll keep you posted.  God Bless. Hurley, PA

Our "little cutie", is a player. A ladies man, he gets more attention than Brad Pitt. LOL All my daughters friends are crazy about him as well as the neighbors. Joann and I think he just about doubled his size since his arrival. His head is getting a little larger, especially his jaw, and does he have a strong bite. He's a ear nibbler. He'll give you a puppy kiss on the cheek, then shoot for the ear lobe.  He's non stop, he loves shoes more than the countless toys he has, yes he's spoiled.
We're walking on a leash, he likes walking with the leash in his mouth, I guess it makes him think he's in control.  He sits, stays and we're working on laying down.  We're up about 5 a.m to go out, then a little breakfast, then it's play time for an hour with me, then a little nap till the kids come down for school. He finally whines down around 10 p.m then we head to bed. We'll keep in touch, and send you some updated photos around the holidays. We hope all is well there, and we'll talk to you soon. God Bless. Hurley.

Hurley and his family also discovered that rotties are like chocolates (you can't stop at just one :)'  We imported Dante for him (sired by the famous CROM DI ALARICUS REX) and then he and his family decided that their family would not be complete without a Diesel pup as well.  A few weeks later, he added Indira to the family (Diesel X Nova).  Here are the adorable pair at Christmas.

Guardian Hemi (Diesel X Serenity)
We were so sad to hear when our little Hemi was hit by a car, and we are so happy that he is doing so much better!  Thanx for the update Julie!
Hi Alice. I just wanted to send you a few pictures of Hemi from this summer. He is doing great and is such a delight and wonderful addition to our family. I have told you before that Richie traveled for work and since we have had Hemi I do not find myself being scared or freaking out at the little sounds at night anymore. He doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body but I know if it ever came down to it he would protect us. When our daughters are in the front yard playing he is right there with them and if someone walks by he just stands right next to our girls and watches the people pass. If he notices our youngest one walking to the side of the house where she is out of sight he herds her back to the front. Even
though he is younger, he is their big brother. He is a very confident and loving dog and we are truly blessed to have him as a part of our family.

Hemi's leg has finally healed completely. He still has a couple pins in it that they could not remove but he is back to normal and has no restrictions. That was a long process and he was confined to his kennel for 4 months of his 1st year. He already had learned most of his manners before the accident but all of that was put on hold for a long time so we still have a few things that needs to be worked on. The biggest thing is chewing. It doesn't matter if he has 10 chew toys laying next to him. He would rather chew our fence, cabinet, hoses, kid toys, etc. The bitter apple stuff did not work for him. Do you have any suggestions on things we could try?

We travel to California a lot to visit family and Hemi always goes with us. My sister and soon to be brother in law have fallen in love with Hemi. They have been talking about getting a Rottweiler (they already have a Corgi and a Border Collie) and they just bought a house with an acre of property. I told them that they have to get a Guardian Rottweiler and they agree. Do you have any litters planned to be ready around March/April?

Well I hope you enjoy the pics and are doing well. Hope to hear from you soon.

Take care,

Julie Cox

SERENA- (DIESEL X SERENITY)
I wanted to let you know how your little puppy has met all of my expectations. It feels like it has been a week already--she had been a part of every moment this weekend, that includes my whole family. My nieces and nephew have been carrying her around and showering her with kisses and I finally decided on her name and I wanted to share it with you. Just so you know, all of my dog's name have typically been focused on food or something funny, but after spending some time with her, she was so NOT a cartoon name. I think she put her tongue on every human being she could get a hold of from Indianapolis to Chicago and because of that I thought it would be more than appropriate to name her after her mother (with a little twist to show her individuality)--I have decided to name her Serena--a name that will fully express the special similarities between the two and also remind me of where she came from....truly special.

Also, I wanted to make sure that you knew your goal of instilling confidence in your puppies has been demonstrated at least a couple of times that I saw. When she arrived home she looked more like her father than at any other time as she walked the perimeter of my condo with her chest stuck out and her head held high--then she attacked the stack of toys that she was given over the course of two days. Oh yeah, before I forget, she barked this morning- when she heard some noise around the condo--she stood straight up and gave a few loud barks and even a little growl (only a Rott owner knows how special this is) this was only about 5 hours after she got home....I certainly was not expecting she would be so responsive so quickly--for instance, she plays fetch (?) wow.

So, this will be the first of many emails keeping you up to date on Serena's development and our life together. Hopefully, I can get a digital camera soon--but in the meantime, I will send you photos. Thank you once again for everything, my house once again feels like a home.

Catherine, IL

Happy New Year! I wanted to drop you a line to tell you how well our little girl is doing. She is growing up to be a very smart, sweet and gentle little giantess :) I thought this would be a good time to let you know how she has completely embraced socialization and how wonderful of an experience it has been. As you are aware, my previous Rottie did not have the benefit of being around children at a young age so my little nieces and nephew were not able to benefit from the special relationship I believe you can only experience from this breed. I vowed to make this a different experience for my little teenie-weenie and I think the picture says it all. She loves kids and especially loves our young family members. She guards over them even though she herself is still little and at the same time she can be a kid herself (we call her the forth musketeer!) Thank you for all of the information on your website it has been helpful in planning what to expect and what is expected from us as the special parents of these little furballs. I also cannot express to the fullest how much I love her and how much joy she brings to my family and to everyone she meets. Still is truly special!

Happy New Year once again!

Warmest regards,
Catherine

Thought it was about time for another update, first, I wanted to congratulate you on the beautiful litters you have had recently, the litter on your website currently made me laugh hysterically--that Yin is too much. Serena is getting big but is still a puppy at heart and still a fireball---she loves to run and loves to socialize---the latest is with our newest addition to my family's pet population----ducklings. She is very curious about everthing and quickly realized she could kiss (or taste from the duckling perspective) the ducklings but not touch with her paw (one loud yelp from the crowd taught her that.) So, I have attached some recent photos for you;  at least you can be rest assured that I am taking socialization quite seriously.
I hope you and your family are well and I cannot wait to see Serenity's litter. Take care
Warmest regards,
Catherine

Alice,
First of all, I love your website and I have been keeping up with all of the recent litters and--they all look so amazing. It reminded me that Serena is coming up very quickly on her one year birthday, tomorrow she is 11 months and she is getting big but I still love on her like she is still a little 15 pound puppy. I haven't gotten her weighed in some time but I believe she is over 90 pounds and growing. Speaking of her size, one humorous thing that happens often is Rott owners will stop and ask about her (because she is beautiful) and all of them will say, she is kind of small for a Rott isn't she and I will ask them how old their furball is and it is always 2-3years old and when I tell them she is only 10 months, they flip--not just because of her size but moreso by her politeness (she took to training quite well.) They cannot help but notice her calm disposition and gentleness towards children and puppies. In addition, she also LOVES other dogs --we took her to the dog beach up here in Chicago by Lake Michigan and she gets the biggest kick out of running with the pack not to mention the excitement of swimming for the first time, that is another story, but let's just say Rotties eyes can get pretty big when their feet come off the ground unexpectedly. All in all, we are having fun and I enjoy every moment with her. I cannot say there has been a day where I do not look at her and smile because she does something silly or I am not amazed by her intelligence. What can I say, I love my little girl. Thanks again for everything, I will send you pics of her one year birthday, I plan to do something special for her. Take care.
Sincerely,
Catherine

Alice,
My little girl is 16 months old now and I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed this past year and a half. She is growing into a beautiful Rottie and gets complements on her calm disposition and intelligence all of the time. As she gets older I can see more of her mother coming out in her (she kisses more than ever) and she is quite the guardian. I do not know what it is, but she still changes when she gets around children, making herself smaller and is very gentle---my neighbors actually took pictures on their phone camera of Serena and their2 year old walking down the sidewalk together, Serena kept looking at her with her soft eyes and the little girl kept giving her goldfish crackers. I then honestly thought, THIS is what you are trying to do, challenge the stereotype, but I also realized since my neighbors were taking pictures like they just saw Bigfoot, we have a way to go. I have many more stories that I could share with you but you have probably heard them before--for instance how Serena watches over the children in our family and loves them without fail---it is an understanding by her look that they are her people so most will approach them carefully if at all--in this day in age where children get taken from their own front yard, we make no apologies--we love her very much (that is everyone in my family) and she loves us in return. I have attached a Christmas photo of Serena for your puppy photo collection, she is starting to really fill out now but still has such a puppy disposition. I will always end every note to you with heartfelt gratitude---she brings much joy to my home. Thank you again and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.

With sincere appreciation,
Catherine

This is "Kyra" Ann Se Ungo Rot.  She was my pick female from a litter I imported from Europe and sired by International Champion Marsio Ri Mobby Dick (most of you probably already know him).  He is a GORGEOUS male and one of the hottest studs in Europe.  Kyra was bought by a wonderful family in Michigan.  I can not wait to see this beautiful female in another year or two!!

I just wanted to let you know that I can’t get enough of your website! I have been on it all day, shhh don’t tell my boss ;-)

I wanted to tell you that Kyra is a blessing to our family! We love her death & she’s such a good girl. I think she likes her new home… she’s a very easy dog (we have gotten MANY compliments on how well she behaves & of course her beautiful looks). We have taken her swimming (I will email you pics as soon as we get our home computer back, or we buy a new one) or I can mail you pics if you would like. She went we us to the beach & walked on the pier with us while our annual Jazz Festival was going on (hundreds of people all around) & she did so well. We were so proud of her!!! I don’t believe she’ll ever stop amazing me. We are a pretty busy/active family & when she gets home she goes right into her crate (we call it her place) & she stretches out on her back w/her tongue hanging out of her mouth & snoring because she’s tired… of course that doesn’t last long ;-)'  after her nap she’s ready to play again! she’s met a lot of our neighbors & they just think she’s perfect (she is perfect!).

I enjoyed meet you & your children & hopefully we will have the pleasure of meeting your husband some day too. Will you tell your kids hello for me? I miss them!!!

Well, I can't thank you enough for our new edition to our family! I appreciate you, your family & your love for the Rottweiler breed!!!!

You Rott!!! (Like you Rock, but only better)

Take care & God bless…

Hello!!!

Hope all is well down in "Rottie-apolis."  Things are great here.  Still working with Kyra everyday and wanted to send you some pictures and give you an update.

Well... Kyra's 8 months old and I just had her in at the vet to get weighed.  Shee's coming in at 81lbs right now.  And... with our workout routine, she's a very solid girl that everyone calls "a boy."  Every other day, she gets to go on about a 1.5 to 2 mile "jog."  She enjoys these and her endurance has quickly surpassed what I'm able to give her.  Regardless to whether she runs or not, she always puts in about 1.5 miles a day in walking and sniffing.  The "walks" are normally done by the kids as they have quickly learned that if they want her to listen to them, they have to be "active" participants in her daily life.  This is very good for us all because Kyra gets a good workout everyday.

Around the house, Kyra is a blast.  If you're laying on the floor, expect her to come and lay right on top of you and bury her nose into the side of your neck as if she's tickling you.  She's able to stay out her crate all night without any accidents.  Of course, I dont do this often because once she starts chewing on her bones, anything that is in the vicinity is "fair game" to her.  Let's just say that she's chewed up some drywall as well as my wife's coffee table.  Nothing major as she simply "over-bites."  One of her other favorite things to do is "bug hunt."  We became VERY nervous as we would see her go into our rock garden and move rocks around.  We really didnt know what she was doing.  Then, one day, we call her into the house.  She lays down on the floor and spits something out when she thought we were not looking.  She then covers it up with her paw.  We quickly move in to inspect and it's a SPYDER!!!  Yes... she's digging through rocks looking for spiders to eat!  And... she's constantly sniffing and scratching in the back yard trying to find any type of bug to play with.

As far as her training... Kyra is very, very, very smart.  She has everything down right now.  All of her commands are pretty good.  And... I can now walk her around the block without a leash.  As soon as I call her, she immediately comes running!  I wanted to test her a couple of weeks ago... so... we went over to the shopping center here in town and I stayed out in the truck with her while Liz went inside.  As soon as the coast was clear, we sprung into action!  I took Kyra and placed her by the front door and gave her a down/stay.  Cars drove through about 10 feet from where she laid and not even a peep.  People walked in and out that store and she just stayed and didnt move.  After I got to about 10 minutes, then she finally sat.  I then went back to her, put her back into another down/stay and this time I went across the street from her.  Once again, she just laid there just as calm and confident.  When Liz comes out, she's all animated like "I know you didnt leave her there like that."  And... I was like ... "Just for a few."  But, it was more like 20 minutes total time.  We left there, went to the pet store and got some fat juicy bones after that!!!

Anyway... her are a few pictures of her.  She's really coming along nicely!!!  Let me know what you think!!!

Respectfully,
Orlando, MI

As I predicted Kyra has done exceptionally greatly because if the excellent training and dedication of her "dad", Orlando.  He just sent us this great video of Kyra training.  He puts her into a down stay and walks several blocks away to where she is nothing more than a black speck in the camera.  The he goes into his house to get something to eat!!  He comes back out, and of course, she is still patiently waiting until released for her position!  THIS is exactly why I love these dogs!!  (Now if only I could train my kids so well.... :P )  (CLICK HERE FOR KYRA'S VIDEO)

Alice,

Things are going great!  Yesturday we were outside most of the day, we came in for a quick nap or two.  Today, he was really wanting to check out his new home, every square inch of it.  I have 8 1/2 acres so, he was busy!  He would stay within 50 feet of us, then he was off checking something else out.  We really got a good work out staying with him.  He seems to really like the barn and the garage.  He sleeps in the house but doesn't seem to like to go in his kennel.  Once in there he is fine, no problems.  He has kept his crate dry and he really enjoyed todays bath.  Tomorrow we go to the vet!  He has taken to my other dog just fine and vise versa.  There like two peas in a pod.  I sent a couple of pictures and included pictures of my other dog, he is 4 1/2.  Everyone stops to check out the new puppy and he loves the attention.  Thanks again!!

John

Thought I would send you an some pics. Endira is doing very well on potty training. She now walks straight to the potty box when we go outside and even gets in it to go.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She has only had 1 accident in the house, it was my fault. She is so sweet and very very smart. She comes when called for the most part. She is doing very well.
Thanks for letting me have her as a pick. I think truly think she picked me from 2 weeks because everywhere I go she follows and listens me more than anyone else here.

Jana, IN

After as much as she loved Endira, Jana came back later and decided she had to have a Diesel son and bought Hero (Diesel X Serenity).  This is a photo of Sammy (far right--a sweet rottie she already had), Endira (center) and Hero (left).

ELLA- (REDWOOD KREST'S XXX and LOLA VON Z-MAX)
Hi -
Ella is just a total sweetheart. We are all having such fun w/her. She loves to run and chase my youngest son (22). She looks forward to Larry (husband) getting down on the floor and wrestling w/her, playing tug of war, etc. She is so cute the way she is able to retrieve her toys from the container we have them in on the floor. She will grab the one she is after and just shake it and make it squeak. She is really quite intelligent, Larry plays rough w/her and she is allowed to play bite w/him. I, on the other hand, do not like play biting and only have to say "no" and she plays nice. (Of course, reminders are needed from time to time.)

When she is outside for a potty break, once she decides she has the perfect spot and starts going, she will look around to make sure we are watching and when finished, run to us to pick her up because she knows we will make a big deal out of if and tell her what a good puppy she is. She really is a funny little creature. We are totally enjoying (and spoiling) her. She is the best!

More later....
Susan

HURCULES- (REDWOOD KREST'S XXX and ALEXIS)
Hello!
It’s hard to believe Hurcules is almost 8 months old. We are so glad we found Guardian Rottweilers and our newest Rottie to our family. Hurcules is now taller then our 4 year old female Rottie and weighs in at 90lbs already. He still hasn’t grown into his massive feet or ears. He is such a loving boy we couldn’t ask for anything better. Here are a few new pics of him and one of both the kids. Hurcules is wearing the blue collar . Thanks again
Thank You Again
Diana & Donnie

Dear Alice,
Please see attached some pictures of Rocky (Excaibur) product of Redwood Krests XXX and Lola Von Z-Max, born 1/10/2008.
He has been a delight for us and is such a great dog. He enjoys going to the state parks and going for walks and loves playing outside.  His favorite toy is the ball, whether it be a basket ball or tennis ball.
Thanks again for a wonderful dog!!
Bill & Kim

ELLIE- REDWOOD KREST'S XXX and LOLA VON Z-MAX)
Hi  - Just wanted to let you know our little girl is loving her new home in Cincinnati. She is soooo smart. She's practically housebroken already (after four days!). When she has to go, she cries, I take her outside, she goes, then races for the back door. She mastered the two steps into the house within 24 hours. She cried a little on the first night home, but now, she doesn't make a sound in her crate until she wakes up. She is a very sound sleeper! And she only gets me up once during the night to go outside. She really prefers sleeping in her padded, cozy crate to anywhere else. She eats really well, now that I mix her Ultra with a tiny amount of canned. She's got the food routine down pat, too. When she hears the can come out, she starts prancing. She has bundles of toys, thankfully, because she chews anything and everything in sight. So, I just quickly substitute the toy for the "no chew" items.
She loves to socialize. We have been taking her around to meet different people and she does well with anyone, anywhere. She is quite the hit. We have decided to call her ELLIE (so feminine and sweet) She is wonderful!!!
We are madly in love with her. I don't think I have ever had an easier pup.
                                                                      Margot, OH

I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate you. As you know, we had a slight crisis the other day and are so thankful you were there. I was in such a panic and completely forgot everything I learned in EMT training. My poor baby was hurt and my heart was broken for him!!
Tanker has been a little sore, but has been his usual loving, mischeiveous self!! I almost think he didn't want to leave your house, so he tried to escape!! Our big guy definitely lives up to his name!! Here are some pictures we have taken over the last few months as he has grown. I'm sorry it has taken so long to get these to you, and we hope you enjoy!!
Have a great day.. and
Thanks again!!
Chad and Christa

LUKE- (DIESEL X ALEXIS)
We love all our puppies and are always so excited to watch them grow, but one little boy (I say this because they are always my babies even when they are over 100 pounds!) has really made us proud.  Kathy purchased Luke from us for her teenage daughter, Tori, as a birthday present 2 years ago.  Soon after, Tori was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  Because of how attached Tori was to her little puppy, Kathy got special permission from Riley Children's Hospital for Luke to come and visit Tori.  We are happy to report that Tori is doing fine, and that the staff took so well to Luke that he continues to make visits as a therapy dog to other children at Riley's.

I just wanted to give you an update on Luke.  Tori and I could never thank you enough.  I know that having Luke with her everyday made all the difference in her recovery after surgery.  He has become such an important member of our family and we could not imagine life without him.  He follows Tori everywhere and is her constant guardian.  When she gets one of her headaches, he lies beside her with his head gently against hers until she feels better.  Luke has earned his Canine Good Citizen and we continue to take him to the hospital.  The kids really seem to respond well to him.
Thank you again and again.
Kathy

Just wanted to send you an updated picture and brag a little about our beautiful girl!
(for you to put on website)

My name is Jade, born to Alexis and Redwood Krest's XXX on August 30, 2007. I am approaching 5 months old and a solid healthy 42 pounds. I am so beautiful that I look at myself in the mirror everyday! I hate to brag but....I already know how to sit, stay, fetch and I can also shake hands (both when asked). I am so eager to please, eager to learn. I love my human family, I am so gentle with my 7yr old human sister and my 3 kitty cats too.
I am a natural :-)
-Jade

I just love this picture of Jade. I took it a couple of days ago. She is sitting in her favorite chair. Her coat is so beautiful and shiny. She is so smart!!! She is getting so big and tall. We are starting to notice so many new traits now that she is reaching 5 months. She is so confident, loyal, and noticing some protective traits with her family. Everyday we are so happy to have her, and cant say enough about
how much we love her. Thanks for taking such care in producing  smart, sound, beautiful puppies!

Regards,
Tammy

Hi,

I always feel the need to update you on our baby girl! She is 6 months and 60+ lbs. now, we had her spayed at the beginning of February and she has done so well. We have always worked with her on training....sit, down, shake etc. but we enrolled her in an obedience class and she is now learning, very well, sign commands instead of verbal commands. She is sooooo smart! She cracks me up because she pays so much attention to the teacher, so obediently sitting and watching him. Acting exactly as she is expected. We could say she has become the "Teachers Pet". I love her so much I get tingles just bragging about her.
She is still a puppy though, she runs around stealing laundry...playing with the cats and LOVES to play ball. She has really become my daughters best friend! I dont have a great updated picture to send you but words alone can describe how great she is!

Well, I could brag forever. Hope things are well with your family and you are having a great 2008. Hopefully spring will be here soon.

Thanks,
Tammy

Hi,
Well our baby Jade is 18 months now, it is hard to believe how time flies.  I was visiting your website today, checking out the new pups, and I was reading the story of Joi and how much passion you put into your dogs.....and it brought a tear to my eye.  I thought I would just share the success story of our baby Jade because you do put so much into the dogs and it shows.  We have been working, training, Jade since she was just a wee little pup and she has now moved through all the training classes I can get her in out here in my town, she is so fit and loves the agility classes the most!  She learns so quickly, never scared to try anything, and always paying attention to her master (ME).  I am so amazed at how eager she is to learn and how quickly!
We get so many compliments on how beautiful she is.  She is now a solid 95 lbs, and I mean SOLID muscle!   The Vet says she is perfect!! She goes with me every where I can take her, she has truly become my best friend.  We are in the middle of getting her licensed as a therapy dog and hope to get her into the hospitals to visit the sick. I have been looking for more technical classes to take, or clubs to join because she has so much potential so if you know of any......please let me know.
I have included a picture of just her and then her and the family in her most favorite place.....the big comfy chair!

Keep up the good work, we love what you do!  What can I say, I am just crazy about my Rotti!

Thanks,
Tammy

 ROGUE- (DIESEL X ALEXIS)
First off we want to thank you and your family for an AWESOME friend. Rogue was born on thanksgiving of 06 and her first year has been a great one. She is well behaved, mild tempered and has a personality all her own. We just celebrated her 1st birthday complete with "doggy bags" for all her friends, "frosty paws" and slide show on the big screen all for her. We love her so much, probably to much because she thinks she's human. The one thing that she is continually persistant on is getting in bed with us. We've tried to break this habbit, but everynight, like clockwork, around 4am she'll jump into our bed ever so gently (as an 84lb. rotty can). Anyways, we hope to get another family member from you soon and look forward to the memories to come. Thanks, Jordan/Stephanie & Rogue

Hi,

It's me Lexis Von Haisley. My daddy is Diesel and my mom is Alexis.
I am now 17 months old. (I was born on my new brothers B-day Nov. 23rd) 06 I just love my new parents.
I went to puppy school and everyone there thought that I was really smart and beautiful, which I know that I am. (Just take a look at my parents)
My new mom and dad really spoil me. I get to go on walks and get to sleep with them. Not as much as I did when I was smaller.
Mom and dad bought me a therapeutic memory foam that goes on a bed in a twin size. They folded it in half and put it in my own
bedding, so I have a nice and comfortable bed just like theirs. I'll let you in on a little secret, don't tell them though.
I get up every morning around 2:00 in the morning and my dad lets me out to potty and after I come back in, I jump up in their bed. Now
I am really comfortable. (I like to be close to them)

Thank You so MUCH for our loving BIG girl! We wouldn't trade her in for NOTHING. She is SO loving and special.
She lets us know when it is time to go to bed every night. If I am on my laptop in the front room, she will come up to it and try to shut it by
using her nose. She is so silly.

Everyone thinks that she is so PRETTY and lovable.

We will have to come and visit you ALL some day. Maybe in May when I take a vacation the week of the 26th.

Here is a pic of her. You would be so PROUD of this girl.

Talk to you later and love them dogs.
Take care and tell everyone Hi for us.

Patty and Scott
and don't forget LEXIS.

Lexis (Diesel X Alexis) now full grown--what a gorgeous representative of the breed!

Thought you would enjoy a couple of photos of Lexis.
She is such a BLAST!!!!  We LOVE her soooooo much. Just another BIG baby.
She loves playing in the snow and knows what it means when we say "want to go play in the snow"

Born on Halloween, Katana quickly became part of our family. Of course, we had the usual growing pains to deal with such as potty training and her desire to chew just about anything. Fortunately, she quickly grew out of those traits. She is now two years old and still has the same “puppy dog” appeal and her hold on our hearts has only grown.
Katana is a cornerstone in our household, one who’s love and loyalty is shown every day. She has demonstrated her desire to protect her family on more than one occasion. She is not quick to accept an adult stranger (children are always loved), but once she does, it is with all of her heart. Her love is quite strong and she sometimes forgets that she’s not a little puppy anymore as she tries to crawl into our laps to be as close as possible to her loved ones. That’s why we lovingly refer to her as our “125 lb. Chihuahua!”
Bringing Katana into our lives has been a blessing. She loves fiercely, plays hard, and works to please. Indeed, if people were to follow her example, the world would be a much better place.
I wanted to thank you for allowing us to bring Katana into our family.  It is obvious to me that you put your heart into every puppy and you breed dogs that show everyone what a rottweiler should look like, and more importantly, act like.

T.J, A Diesel and Alexis son, sends me e-mails frequently.  He now lives with Greg and Jen.  I have included a few exerpts from "his" e-mails:

Dear  family,
I just want to thank you for taking such good care of me while I was little. Mom said I should let you know how I am doing. We stopped at the Vet on our way home and she said I was a good looking pup and checked out just fine...I ring a bell when I have to potty. Sometimes I do it on my own, and sometimes Mommy and Daddy remind me, but, I haven't had an accident all week. Mommy does this thing where I have to "stay." I try and I can do it for a few seconds, but I get anxious. Mommy says I am a good boy!...Mom has taught me to sit, stay, lay down, and turn a circle. She gets very excited when I do these simple tricks. I can't wait for more challenging stuff to show her how smart I really am...I love to sit on things, the step, the coffee table, I don't think just because I have four legs, that I should have to sit on the floor. Next, Mom says I am growing up to be a handsome thing. (I think my tongue is too big) Also, I can catch a ball really good. I got sent ahead at school from Puppy to Novice Clicker and I have only been for three weeks. I really impressed Sue (my teacher) and Mom and Dad with my performance, I even went through the tunnel, walked the see-saw and did a few small jumps. I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day! Thanks for being such a good Mommy to me and all my brothers and sisters. I miss you and I promise that I will come and see you sometime. Love,
T.J...It's been awhile since I wrote and sent pictures. Here are some current pictures of me that Mommy took. I am doing great. I love that it is cooler now so we can go out and play more. I still behave very good for Mommy and Daddy. Not a lot of new tricks, but I remember all the ones that I have been taught. I saw the new litter of puppies on your website. We check it a lot to keep up on you guys. I hope all the new puppies are as loved as I am. Hugs and sloppy puppy kisses to you all. Love, T.J

Hey all,
I just wanted to check in with you since it has been awhile. All is good here. I have been swimming in the pond alot this year. I love to slap the water and bite at it. It is a alot of fun, but Mom says I look funny doing it. Dad is retired now and we spend lots of time together. I hope you are all doing well and are going to enjoy the 4th this weekend. Thanks again for doing so much to make so many happy homes with me and all my brothers and sisters. Love and sloppy kisses.
T. J.

You may use us a reference at any time. TJ is the most awesome friend, companion, and guardian that we could hope for. We waited 6 years knowing that we could never have another "Thor," little did we know that we could have another Rottie that would be smarter, more beautiful, and more devoted than we could have hoped for. You could not ask for a more perfect companion than a family member from Guardian Rottweilers. Please have a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year shedding your great puppy love on many families!

Since the day I laid eyes on him it was love at first sight. When I held him for the first time and he gave me puppy kisses by sucking on my chin I knew he was the one for us. We loved visiting him as he grew at Guardian Rottweilers watching him play with his brothers and sisters and seeing how well his family was taking care of our new baby. We hated to go home without him when we visited so I took as many photos as I could so we could look at him until our next visit. We knew he was being well cared for and with all the care and testing done before he came home with us, we knew we had come to the right breeder for our puppy. Not only do they breed and raise gorgeous pups they are good people with a beautiful family of their own who we got to know during our visits. We were so glad when the day came where we got to bring Mason home with us and introduce him to our fuzzy cat Georgie. The first day home with us he walked over to Georgie who was laying by the couch, sniffed him briefly and gave him puppy kisses on his cheek. He is our 2nd Rottie and there is such a difference between him and our former Rottie. He is very energetic and playful and loves his Mom. Even when Jeff talks to him he watches me as if waiting for permission to listen to Jeff. He's the biggest joy I have had in many years and I'm going to enjoy his puppy days as long as I can before he becomes a big bear like his Daddy XXX and grows into his huge paws.

Sincerely, Jeff and Tracy

As with many of our puppy parents, Frank and Lori came to pick out a puppy and left with two!  Chloe and Diesel (named after his father) are just over a year now and go with Frank and Lori everywhere.  She sent this letter with the photos:

Thank you for the card. We hope your Christmas was good.

We love our puppies so much!  We don't know what we would do without them. They are more than I dreamed.  They are gorgeous and very vell behaved.  They are our family.  Thank you so much!
