My oldest daughter named this beefy breakfast pie!  Quiche is a big, hearty boy with heavy bone and great substance.  He was born with a kinked tail, and will therefore be a PET quality male.  No one really know what exactly causes kink tails, but it is theorized that the tail just gets bent the wrong way when they are developing.  As big as all of these pups were at birth and as many as there were- they had to be packed in there pretty good 😉  Sometimes the kinks can be pretty obvious- a candy cane hook at the end of the tail, and sometimes they are very subtle.  His and his sister’s kinks are both very subtle, and you really need to run your fingers down the tail to appreciate it.  We run our fingers down the tails of newborn pups- and over every other part of their body for that matter- at birth as part of our newborn check-up, so we knew about the the kink as soon as they were born.  It is important for me to be aware of it so that I can distinguish it from a broken tail later that has been stepped on by mama.  If it is an injury, then we want to make sure there is no additional damage to the tail or anywhere else on the puppy.
Quiche is very much his father’s son, so if you are a Napoleon fan, you will definitely love this beautiful boy.  He has a heavy topskull with a short, full muzzle and great stop definition.  His ears are correctly set and carried adding even more width to the topskull.  Quiche has a short coat with rich color and well defined markings.  Quiche is happy and confident and such a fun boy.  He will make such a wonderful pet.
