Hey Alice!
Guinan is doing amazing. Her heart murmur is being monitored but the cardiologist at Angell in Boston feels it is mild and not a cause for any immediate concern. I also had our local cardiologist review who concurs. She is just thriving! So all positive health news.
She is just the sweetest puppy. Independent, confident and, of course, mischievous. So mischievous that she already had a gastronomy!!!! She literally puts everting in her mouth. I’ve never had a dog that inhales anything it sees. As a matter of fact, Legacy is super picky. He won’t even eat most treats and he’s definitely not eating mulch! Total opposite with Guinan.
It was a long recovery and she now wears a soft muzzle in the house when I’m busy and a nose lead outside so I can redirect that mouth of hers as quick as possible. She’s doing great with drop it and leave it. But all it takes is me being distracted for 2 seconds and she’ll inhale a sock. Please join me in prayer that she’ll grow out of this!!!
She has become my sidekick and comes to work with me every day. She meets our clients, visits job sites and visits all our business neighbors and their stores. She’s quite the popular pup! The delivery guys and mailman are in love with her as is pretty much everyone that meets her cause she is so special!
I just wanted to share an update with you. Attaching a video of her and Legacy playing in the snow and a couple of pics. She absolutely loves to ride in the truck as you will see with her big grin!
