Of course when I think of Poe, I think Edgar Allen, however, Poe means “peacock,” and I think that is an absolutely perfect name for this gorgeous boy who definitely knows just how gorgeous he is! He reminds me of our peacock, Great Gatsby. Gatsby loves to show off how beautiful he, he can’t help it! He will show his beautiful tail off for us, the chickens, the Rotties, even for our kitties. He just knows he is my beautiful boy. My slightly cheeky Poe is the same. He is just the sweetest, biggest hearted baby boy. But whenever he does something clever, he always has this absolutely adorable, all knowing smile that says, “yup, I’m a cutie pie for sure!”
Poe’s head type is heavy on Kendy/Hector with a compact muzzle and deep stop. He has a heavy topskull and his ears are perfectly set and carried, adding to the width of his fat head. Poe has great bone and substance, and, like his siblings, a compact and tight coat. He has clean, well defined markings and would be perfection if not for the smudge of white between his bowtie. His pedigree very quickly goes bakc to some of the world’s most famous old Germany bloodlines, so I am not too surprised that white popped up. I do, however, wish it had not as I would have had a perfect litter of all top show pups- something I have only had a very small handful of times in more than 26 years breeding. Regardless, our little peacock will make the perfect pet for a home lucky enough to have him. He will come with LIMITED REGISTRATION.
