“Boaz” Rook
Hi Alice,
Hope all is well with you.

The vet has recommended Next Guard vs Heart Guard for Boaz / Bo, (formerly Rook). I would rather go with what you think is best but was wondering if you had any feedback on NextGuard, just out of curiosity?
I’ve been keeping him on Instinct (mixture of raw & kibble) & it seems to be doing well for him & then on Sundays, I make him Salmon or some kind of fish & of course, he loves this too. We love the wknds best bc we get the most time together.

I also started buying Instinct frozen, to mix in more raw w/his kibble – as he is getting bigger, so fast!
He’s a happy boy & I couldn’t love him more.

Here’s a couple photos if you wanted to see him now & a video short. We’re going on short visits to my folks’ place down the road so he can have some fun in a new place w/other ppl he loves & also so I can show them how to handle & work with him too for the rare occasions I might need help letting him out of an evening or something & also just for consistency, but anyways.. .
I also let Bobby, (who had Kane) come visit fm time to time to see how Bo & I are doing w/his training & obedience & for some fun/play/social too, (which I’m not sure who enjoys that more) lol. But sometimes, I have to admit, it’s nice to be able to see him in action vs always being the trainer / handler / lover of Bo & to get to see just how good that little boy is! (To me, he is the best boy, of course!

) So this video is one of my favorites. (Although I did not ask permission to share it, oops, between just you & I – I don’t think he’ll mind

).
Everyone who has met him so far though & spent time around him is a big fan of his! He’s a social butterfly & just lovessss new people. A great little ambassador I think & we’re always working on manners & getting better every day.
Just can’t thank you enough for this precious fur baby that is my little Boaz. I love him so so so much & think he’s the absolute biggest blessing! Loving every minute with him!!

Hi Alice! I think he’s gorgeous too & I tell everyone I got him from the very best breeder! He also gets lots of compliments.. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard, “he’s handsome!” And I always say thank you but if you knew him you’d know what a total heart stealer he is bc he has the personality to match the looks, too. He is the total package in my eyes.
I’m not sure how to send them as a different kind of attachment I guess, because they are from my phone, but I can try to see if I can send them to you via WeTransfer somehow, if you are comfortable downloading them from that or maybe I can just send you a few at a time & not so many.
I am definitely interested in getting him a sister still, very much. I have her crate ready for training & puppy food too, & we just can’t wait to meet her!
Boaz is extremely well socialized and absolutely loves all people & animals he meets. His temperament is *beyond excellent* & he has been such the blessing. He is dearly loved & treasured by so many now.
I will bring him with me when the time comes to be sure it will be a good fit but I would be very surprised if he wasn’t ecstatic over an addition to our already love & fun filled pack/family. He is such a good hearted, fun & loving boy.
Please keep me in the loop on any new puppies, I am so looking forward to Lord-willing having another guardian love in my house soon. I can’t believe my little Boaz is around 100 lbs + and we’re coming up on his 1 yr birthday already! They grow SO fast!
Blessings & much love,
Klaus
Happy Sunday!
Little porker now weighs 25#.
Vet says he is perfect!! Well, we knew that already.
He is doing so good, recognizes his name, sitting on command, loose leash walking, giving me signs to go out and potty
I couldn’t be happier!!

Thought you’d like to see Klaus at almost 7 months.
He’s such a good boy and he and Fredi have bonded . Learning basic commands and starting obedience this Saturday.
This was at our dog park fall / Halloween party
