Coraline, and her “opposite twin” Caroline both had an unfortunate incident when they were only a day old with mom’s toenail. Although Panther is a fantastic mom and super careful, she is over 100 pounds and built like a Rhino. When mom is that big and pups are smaller than a can of soda and vigorously wiggling, it can unfortunately be too easy for one to roll or wiggle into mom’s path after she is already mid-step. Even with shifting weight, the edge of her toenails caught both of these little girls on the edge of their ears. Although it was barely a scab on a newborn puppy, it unfortunately translated to loss of a good chunk of ear on a growing puppy. Of course this does not effect health, hearing, balance or ability of the pups in any way, it does make them perfectly imperfect, so they will both be sold with LIMITED registration. We chose the names Coraline and Caraline to pay homage to my oldest baby’s favorite movie as a child- Coraline. Coraline had an “other mother” in an opposite world she ventured to. Somehow, miss Panther managed to get both females on the same edge of the ear, but opposite ears, so the name seamed fitting.
Sweet Caroline is a very gentle, loving, nurturing girl who loves to snuggle. She takes more after her father in type with a stronger, typier head. Both girls have a super short coat, rich color and overall excellent conformation.
