Her name is pronounced “buh-bee-cha”, but we call her Bubba.  Although it is often thought of as a male nickname, the Latin word “bubalus” means ‘buffalo’ or ‘wild ox.’  Considering miss Bubica is built better than most males and definitely resembles a buffalo or wild ox in frame, bone and substance, the nickname just seems to suit her.  Bubba is another fantastic Nicola’s Lion beast and is the granddaughter of both Mauser of Nicola’s Lion and Dino of Nicola’s Lion!  She consistently produces hefty bear cubs that embody everything I have come to love about Nikola’s breeding program.  Super balanced female that has fantastic drive, is ready, willing and able, and is just such a biddable girl.  I am so excited to have her first litter born here in the US!
