I am sure we all know the story of Icarus flying too close to the sun with wings made of wax and feather crafted by his father, Daedalus. The sun melted his wings and he fell into the sea. It is meant to be as cautionary tale about hubris. But I choose to also acknowledge the incredible engineering of Daedalus, the trust and willingness of Icarus to have confidence in his father’s crazy contraption and the zeal for life the pair of them had.
Hopefully our little Icarus will not be taking flight too soon, and if so, hopefully he will not venture too close to the sun 😉 But in the mean time, he will surely have many great adventures! Icarus is a happy, social pup who is always looking for a way to have fun. He can make a toy or a game out of just about anything and very much prefers interactive play.
Icarus is a stocky, stout pup with excellent bone and substance. He has beautiful anatomy with great front and rear assembly and very nice top and underlines. Icarus has very rich mahogany markings that are clean and well defined.
Head type is such a wonderful mix of both bloodlines! I can see Qi’ra every time he smiles and yet, his expressions are so very much young Walter. Icarus has a very large head, especially compared to his overall size. He has a heavy topskull, very deep stop, and short muzzle. He has excellent fill in the zygomatic arches and very dark eyes. Icarus has a correct puppy bite with dark mouth pigment. He is very expressive and just always so happy! Icarus has good drive, is very eager to please and quite biddable. He will come with FULL REGISTRATION.
