“Bowser” Falco Se Ungo-Rot
Hi ALICE!!! I just wanted to say hello and to update you on how everything is going. Well, to be honest, everything is going GREAT! Bowser is the best puppy I have ever had. He is a huge couch potato and loves to cuddle! He sleeps all night and never cries (although he likes to howl exactly three times while I’m in the shower) lol. He is super sweet! He is the perfect little patient at the vet and doesn’t even seem to notice when he gets his vaccines or when I trim his nails. I am just over the moon for him! He loves to play with his squeaky platypus and rope toys and anything he can fit in his mouth (which means anything is fair game – including my socks!) He loves hanging out at the ball fields with me and at the gym where he plays with a geriatric chocolate lab. He is so gentle with my cats and he ADORES children and other dogs. You should see him – he is fifty pounds already and I swear pretty soon his paws will be bigger than my hands! People are constantly stopping us and saying “Is that a Rottweiler? WOW! He is SOOOOO HANDSOME!” and “What a beautiful rottie!” He never jumps up inappropriately or tries to nip or chew on me or other people. And he has the funniest personality. He has me laughing and smiling all the time. It’s incredible. Such a SMART, sweet, little gentleman! He is very much a rottie too though – the other day my air conditioning kicked on and he came over and sat on my foot, looked directly at the vent, and growled really soft. I started laughing at him and he started wagging his entire body, and we haven’t had a problem about the AC since. LOL! Anyway, I won’t go on and on about him any further (cause I could talk all day about how much I love him), but I just wanted to shoot you an e-mail and let you know that he is doing fantastic. Best. Puppy. Ever. 🙂
Again, I want to thank you so much for everything Alice. You are a true advocate for the Rottweiler breed. Bowsy is the gentlest, most socialized, most gorgeous puppy I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. My Bowser is a gorgeous best friend and I know I could not have gotten him from anybody else. Thank you!
Also, let me know when you get his registration papers back. We would LOVE to come by for a visit! 🙂

Bowser is doing fantastic! I’ve switched him to Taste of the Wild dogfood and he absolutely loves it and his coat is beautiful. No more spitting up since my boyfriend built him a raised feeder and I changed our routine to only eating when he is settled down. He’s getting big – 80lbs and 7.5 months! But luckily he’s a very sweet, gentle giant (unless you are a rope toy) and he’s getting his manners almost perfected 🙂 He’s doing great on tricks and obedience too – he shows off for everybody we meet lol. I’m still constantly being told what a beautiful dog he is, and of course, asked why he has a tail, which really impresses most people. He’s finally getting through some of his awkward growing puppy stage and starting to turn into a handsome guy. I’m not sure when he’s supposed to get taller but he sure is a lonnng puppy! lol But he’s a gorgeous boy and I just love him. Anyway, hope you’re not too stressed gearing up for the holidays! Hope to hear from
you soon!

Hi Alice & Family!
How are you all doing? I hope your Rottieopolis is coming along smoothly! I saw the pictures you put up on the website and it certainly looks like you guys are keeping busy! Boy have Sausage and Bacon gotten big! How was your trip to Europe?
I wanted to tell guys about what’s been going on with Bowser and me. This last fall we had to put our family dog (a chocolate lab named Bubba) to sleep due to severe arthritis in his hips. At that time, I had only had Bowser for about a month, and after the loss of Bubba, I was afraid that the hole in me would never be filled again. I don’t even know how many days I cried over my beloved Bubba, and swore up and down that there would never, ever, be another dog like him. Well, I was only partly right. While no dog will ever replace my Bub, I honestly feel that Bowser and I have a bond equally as strong. He really is the only thing that got me through losing Bubba. If I hadn’t had my beautiful rottie baby giving me puppy kisses and making me laugh in the following weeks, I’m not sure how I would have gotten through it. Now, I can look back at my Bubba’s memory and smile, because Bowser has taught me how to move forward. I’m bringing this up now because lately I’ve been sick with bronchitis and a nasty sinus infection, and he really was my only reason for getting out of bed the last few days. I love that he always knows how to keep me going, and does his best to make me feel better when I’m sick. What a beautiful beautiful fur-person. I can’t even get over how much I love this pup. When I bring him to visit my parents, he snuggles my mom and plays “fetch the squirrel” with my dad. He gets along great with his german shepherd cousin’s (my sister’s dogs), and plays all day with them. He has brought so much joy, laughter, and hope to our family and I just wanted to thank you again for giving me the opportunity to be his doggy mom. Anyway, I wanted to bring this up because I have seen recently that you have a lot of rescues on your page. This breaks my heart. Especially since I saw Nick is back at your home – it really tears me up. If you remember, I picked between Falco and Nick, and I feel terrible that Nick has been returned. 🙁 I wish that things were different and that I had a larger home to open up to one of your returned/rescues. I hope that you find forever homes for these beautiful rotts. It really breaks my heart. Maybe in a year or so Bowser and I can provide a forever home for another Guardian Rottweiler.
Anyway, I hope all is well and I cannot wait for the grand opening! Please let us know so we can come see it! Bowser would like to know if he can have Marsio’s autograph while he’s here in the U.S. lol. Just out of curiosity, I was wondering who you’re planning on breeding him with while he’s here. HOW EXCITING! lol
I’ve included another pic of Bowser and I. Boy does he love the snow! lol!

Hi Alice & Family!
So, I just wanted to send ya an email to update you on how Bowser is doing. Well, he’s 19 months old now, weighing in at about 97lbs. And I have to say, I’m just floored.
Bowser is an incredible boy. Not just because he’s gorgeous. I know that everybody says that about their dogs, but Bowser really is. His face is perfectly square in all the right places, ears set correctly, all of which combines to make the most adorable face 🙂 lol in the time since I got him, I have not had ANY health problems, aside from 1 UTI, which can hardly be considered anything noteworthy. I know I’m bragging, but I can’t seem to help it.
We have had our struggles though- there were a couple of personality conflicts about whose bone belonged to whom, and whether it was OK to chase the cat up my leg… but I’ve said it before and I will say it again: You Were Right. As we approach the 2 year mark, Bowser is turning from a crazy, stubborn puppy to my trusting best friend. I can see it in the little things everyday: the way the cats rub up against him now when they used to hiss and slap him, Anyway, what I was saying is that I see the best come out of my Bowser more and more everyday. Its a beautiful thing to see. I took him to Petsmart with me the other day for over an hour and he was a perfect dog. He let every single person pet him who approached, including several kids and elderly. And when other dogs approached, he was play bowing and frolicking so much that he had a whole crowd of people laughing. Yup, you read that right. There’s no other way to describe it. Bower frolicks. Constantly. Lol its adorable 🙂 He has become such a joy in my life. I honestly don’t know how I ever got by without him. He’s a perfect fit for me – and everything you said he’d be and more: smart, handsome, a total clown, and most importantly, he’s healthy. Thank you again and a thousand times more for bringing us together. I’ll keep posting pics of him on your fb page. He has started to fill out now and is such a beautiful dog.
Thanks forever,
Renee & Bowser
