Guardian Godiva Von Gottschalk

Good evening Alice we hope that all is well on the homefront. I wanted to let you know that Godiva aka “Athena”  has been nothing but a dream! I am so proud of her and the way she has become such a big part of our family! Since the day we brought her home we were worried about how she would do in a new home. She spent about an hour looking around and found her new pillow bed and fell asleep, we agreed she felt at home. She has found her home and almost from day one she has learned my schedual and when its time to get up to go potty she finds a way to wake me up (pull my pillow out from under me, lay on my head, morning kisses, etc) she is very persistant! I dont know where it came from in her but she has the most amazing protection instinct I have ever seen at 10 months she knows when I am not there and has made her presence known to people coming to the house as if to say “this is my house and I dont know you till mom says you can come in”. I had a friend over working with me and he mistakenly came in the house without knocking and was promply met by a “warning”  before Ashley had told her its ok and then Athena was relaxed but vigilant as I was still outside. I had been out of town for work for the past 3 weeks and needless to say the longest 3 weeks of my life away from the family but was assured that they were well protected in my absence. As for home coming my puppygirl spent a good 20min with me just glad to have her daddy home 🙂 She has found she likes to sleep in bed with us and thru the night she goes on her patrol of the house befor ending up in bed with Payton our daughter. She has some growing to do still but she is all Rotti and I hope the pics attached show she looks amazing just like here dad Dunjo! We cannot express how she has added to our family in words other than amazing! Thank you so much from our whole family and we look forward to seeing you again to add too our family. Godbless you and your family.           The Pluta family

P.S. We are hoping to do Christmas pics soon we will let you know how that works out 🙂

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! All the best wishes for 2014

They are not animals they are family to us. My wife and daughter are quit safe at home when I was away for my job. We never trained our Athena to be any kind of attack dog what so ever. That being said she will put herself in between us and any perseved danger unless given the ok. She has been with our family 4 years and has traveled with us to Florida and we looked long and hard before finding Alice. We could not be happier or more suppressed. We saw many “breeders” that term being used lightly that did not show half the concern for the dogs other than puppy machines. Its long been said you get what you pay for and Alice goes far beyond that! She shows great care and love for her dogs and puppies well being and should be given credit for going above and beyond.  Here in our home our Athena is part of our family she protects my family when I’m away she sleeps in my daughter bed and snuggles her at night. That is not a vicious animal unless you threaten them then she will protect her family. Aside from that she will sit on your lap give kisses and just wants to play with you. Mean vicious no, misunderstood breed caused by a few bad apples yes. You should be thankful to have a neighbor like Alice and her family watching over you. You may never need her help but if ever in danger know that her rotties would protect you just the same as they her and her family, breed does not judge only serve even if it means giving there all. Please consider all the good that has come from her being your neighbor and all the happiness she has brought to families all over. Thank you.

Guardian Goliath Von Gottschalk

Alice,

Had Goliath to vet today. Weighed in at 16.2lbs and everything was great with him.  We have Damen scheduled for his yearly shots and we’re getting him neutered  this coming Friday.

As for Goliath he’s full of hell, and has no fear. Quite the jumper.  Ulani is like a mother hen and is very good with him.  Goliath likes to walk into the “boys” room when they are in their crates, but he’s not afraid to go in when I’m watering them and drink right along side of them. He’s full throttle all the time. He loves everyone and was a big hit at the vets office. You should see him, he sits on his butt and stands up, like he’s begging. He’s a real trip.

That’s all we have for now, we’ll keep you updated.

Kindest Regards,

Hurley

Alice,

Sorry it took me so long to get you an update on guardian gesha aka Alena. She is my world, never could have asked for a better dog. She goes everywhere with me and my girlfriend. Last year we took her to racoon lake, and she went swimming for her first time. She was very good in the water, but she wasn’t the biggest fan of it she jumped right in at first and then wanted to get back on dry land after a few minutes of paddling around . I thank the Lord everyday that I can wake up to her by my side. She is so kind and loving, my grandmother and grandfather now are interested in getting a rott because they observe how protective but yet loving Alena is. She loves the kids! My little cousins 5, 7, and 9 all love her to pieces, she loves giving kisses! We all are so proud of her she just learned how to shake, only took her a few hours to learn. Next we’re going to teach her how to speak! Alena is the most loving, caring, protecting, beautiful dog anyone could ask for. It’s hard to believe she’s going to be there this December, but she and I are doing great. I work a lot and when I come home she always runs down the halfway and greats me with lots of kisses. The whole family adores her and loves to see her when they can. It’s a blessing to tell people about her and to call her my own.

Take care,
Michael
